Measure the diagonals: After installing the main runners and the first 2 rows of tees, measure the diagonal distances between opposite corners of the grid (from the top-left corner to the bottom-right corner and from the top-right corner to the bottom-left corner). If the grid is square, these diagonal measurements should be equal.
